Ingredients/Components
- cinnamon - 3/4 tsp
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- flour
- brown sugar - 1/2 c
- soda - 1/2 tsp
- baking powder - 1/2 tsp
- egg - 1 item
- molasses - 1/2 c
- ginger - 3/4 tsp
- margarine - 1/2 c
How to make gingerbread:
Pour hot water over the margarine; add brown sugar, egg (beaten) and molasses. Mix well. Sift together flour, salt, soda, baking powder and ginger. Add to first mixture; mix well, using mixer. Bake at 350° about 35 minutes.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cakes, < 60 mins.
