English toffee cookies

Ingredients/Components

• vanilla - 1 tsp
• salt - 1/2 tsp
• chopped nuts
• flour - 2 c
• butter - 1 c
• dark brown sugar - 1 c
• egg yolk - 1 item
• Hershey chocolate bars plain - 6 8

How to make english toffee cookies:

Mix all ingredients together (except the chocolate and nuts). Spread onto a greased cookie sheet. Bake 350° for 25 minutes. While still hot, place chocolate bars on top to melt. When melted, sprinkle nuts over. Let cool and slice into bars.
