Ingredients/Components
- unsifted all purpose flour
- baking soda - 1 tsp
- butter or margarine, softened - 1 c
- granulated sugar - 1/4 c
- firmly packed brown sugar - 3/4 c
- 4 serving size Jello vanilla flavor instant pudding - 1 pkg
- eggs - 2 item
- quick cooking rolled oats
- raisins optional - 1 c
How to make oatmeal cookies:
Mix flour with baking soda. Combine butter, the sugars and pudding mix in large mixer bowl; beat until smooth and creamy. Beat in eggs. Gradually add flour mixture; then stir in oats and raisins. (Batter will be stiff.) Drop by rounded measuring teaspoonfuls onto ungreased baking sheets, about 2 inches apart. Bake at 375° for 10 to 12 minutes. Makes about 5 dozen.Note: Butterscotch chips may be added.
