  • milk - 1/4 c
  • salt - 1/4 tsp
  • butter - 2 3
  • pepper - 1/4 tsp
  • can cream of mushroom soup - 1 item
  • onion, chopped - 1/3 c
  • celery, diced - 1/3 c
  • green pepper, diced - 1/3 c
  • can water chestnuts, drained - 1 oz
  • bag frozen peas - 1 (20
  • soda crackers - 1 item
  • small jar chopped pimentos - 1 item

How to make english pea casserole:

Saute celery, onion and green pepper in butter. Dilute soup with milk and add to vegetable mixture. Combine all ingredients, except cracker crumbs. Pour into 1 1/2-quart buttered casserole. Top with cracker crumbs. Bake at 350° for 50 to 60 minutes.
