Easy oven stew
Ingredients/Components
- salt - 2 tsp
- flour - 1/4 c
- water - 1 c
- paprika - 1/2 tsp
- pepper - 1/2 tsp
- chopped celery - 1 c
- can tomato sauce - 28 oz
- small onions - 4 item
- Wesson oil - 2 Tbsp
- boneless beef or round, 1-inch cubes - 2 lb
- small carrots, cut 1-inch - 4 item
- small potatoes, cut 1-inch - 4 item
How to make easy oven stew:
Combine flour, salt, pepper and paprika in a paper bag. Drop portion of beef into bag. Shake until coated. Place in 8-quart casserole dish with oil. Bake at 400° for 30 minutes; stir well.Add vegetables, water and tomato sauce. Mix well. Cover and bake at 350° for 1 3/4 hours or until tender. Makes 6 servings.
