Easy oven beef stew
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 Tbsp
- salt - 2 tsp
- tomato juice - 1/2 c
- carrots, cut in chunks - 6 item
- medium onion, peeled and sliced - 1 item
- beef stew meat, cut in 1 1/2-inch cubes - 2 lb
- stalk celery, cut on the diagonal - 1 item
- tapioca for thickening - 2 Tbsp
How to make easy oven beef stew:
Place raw meat in a 7 x 11-inch pan. Add vegetables. Blend salt, sugar and tapioca. Sprinkle over meat and vegies. Add tomato juice. Cover pan with foil, sealing tight around edges. Bake at 250° for 4 hours. If it gets too thick, add water. Makes 6 servings.Recipe categories: Main dish, One Dish meal, Stew.
