  • milk - 4 c
  • flour - 1/2 c
  • butter - 1/2 c
  • chopped onion - 1 c
  • chopped celery - 1 c
  • chicken broth - 4 c
  • sliced mushrooms - 2 c
  • sliced carrots - 1 c
  • American or Velveeta cheese - 1 lb

How to make cheese soup:

Saute celery, onion, carrots and mushrooms until tender. Add milk and broth and heat to boiling to thicken. Add cheese and stir until melted.
