- cinnamon - 1/2 tsp
- eggs - 2 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- milk - 1/2 c
- baking powder - 2 tsp
- pinch of salt - 1 item
- shortening - 1/2 c
- all-purpose flour
- Topping:4 medium apples, sliced
How to make dutch apple cake:
Topping:4 medium apples, sliced2 Tbsp. sugar1/2 tsp. cinnamon In one bowl, mix together topping ingredients. Set aside. Beat eggs, then add sugar. Sift flour and baking powder; add to egg mixture. Beat for 1 minute on medium speed then scrape bowl. Beat for 2 more minutes. Pour into 8-inch square pan. Place Topping mixture on top.
