- eggs - 2 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- flour - 2 c
- soda - 1 tsp
- chopped walnuts - 1/3 c
- margarine - 1/2 c
- chopped apples - 1 c
- sour milk or orange juice - 1/3 c
How to make dutch apple bread:
Preheat oven to 350°. Cream together margarine and sugar; add and beat well the eggs and vanilla. Combine separate the flour, soda and salt; add dry ingredients alternately with sour milk or orange juice. Fold in apples and walnuts. Bake in greased 9 x 5-inch loaf pan for 55 minutes or until loaf test done. Makes 1 loaf.Recipe categories: Breads, Quick breads, Grains.
