Ingredients/Components
- water - 3 qt
- cider vinegar - 1 qt
- rock salt - 1 c
- heads dill - 2 item
- alum - 1/4 tsp
- clove garlic - 1 item
- cucumbers - 1 item
How to make dill pickles:
In each jar, put 2 heads of dill, a clove of garlic, alum and cucumbers. Bring water, vinegar and salt to boil. Pour over pickles and seal. Turn upside-down for 3 to 4 hours. Ready to eat in 6 weeks.Recipe categories: Lunch/snacks, Appetizers, Condiments, etc..
