Caramel corn
Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- brown sugar - 1 c
- baking soda - 1/2 tsp
- corn syrup - 1/4 c
- popped corn - 4 5
- oleo - 1/2 c
How to make caramel corn:
Combine all ingredients, except popcorn and baking soda. Bring to a boil for 2 minutes. Remove from heat. Stir in baking soda. Put popped popcorn in paper bag and pour syrup over. Stir and shake. Then put in microwave for 1 1/2 minutes. Remove and shake. Then put in microwave for 1 1/2 minutes more. Let cool in pan, then eat.Recipe categories: Lunch/snacks, Snacks, American.
