Ingredients/Components
- cinnamon
- cornstarch or tapioca - 1 tsp
- pastry crust - 1 item
- apples, sliced and pared - 4 c
- diet cream soda - 1/2 c
- unsugared apple juice concentrate - 1/2 c
How to make diabetic apple pie:
Mix apple juice, cream soda, cornstarch and cinnamon. Pour over apple slices to coat well. Pour filling into crust lined pie plate. Top with remaining crust. Bake at 425° for 45 minutes or until golden brown and apples are tender.Recipe categories: Desserts, Pie, Pies and tarts.
