Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/4 c
- boiling water - 1/2 c
- can evaporated milk - 1 oz
- fresh lemon juice - 1/4 c
- grated lemon peel - 1 tsp
- lime jello
- chocolate cookie crust - 1 item
How to make lime pie:
Place milk in freezer tray. Place in freezer until frozen 1/2 inch around edges. While freezing milk, dissolve jello in boiling water. When slightly cooled, add sugar, lemon juice and peel. Put milk in large mixing bowl and beat until thick. Pour over lime mixture and beat. Add a few drops green food coloring if desired.
