- sugar
- milk - 1 c
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- flour - 3 c
- baking powder - 1 Tbsp
- large eggs - 5 item
- Crisco
- coconut flavoring - 1 tsp
- Angel Flake coconut - 1 c
How to make coconut pound cake:
Cream sugar and Crisco; add eggs, one at a time. Beat well after adding each egg. Combine flour, salt and baking powder. Add flour mixture alternately with the milk. Add flavoring; fold in the coconut. Bake in a large tube pan for 2 hours at 300°.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cakes, Lunch/snacks.
