  • sugar - 2 c
  • butter - 2 c
  • baking powder
  • sifted flour - 4 c
  • beaten eggs - 6 item
  • lemon extract - 1 Tbsp
  • white raisins - 2 c
  • whole pecans - 4 c

How to make texas pecan cake:

Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs and lemon extract and blend. Sift dry ingredients together and combine with raisins and pecans. Add to creamed mixture and blend. Pour in well-greased and floured tube pan. Bake 2 hours at 275°.
