Ingredients/Components
- flour - 2 Tbsp
- shortening - 1/2 c
- dry mustard
- paprika - 1 item
- Worcestershire sauce - 2 tsp
- salt and pepper - 1 item
- tomato catsup - 2 tsp
- cut up fryer - 1 item
- hot water or soup stock - 1 c
How to make deviled chicken:
Brown chicken in hot shortening. Remove and add flour to pan, then water for gravy. Simmer for 1 hour, but turn after 30 minutes.Before simmering, add seasonings to gravy and add chicken, then simmer, covered.
