Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- butter - 4 Tbsp
- water - 1 c
- ground beef - 1 lb
- cloves garlic - 2 item
- minced onion - 1/2 c
- curry powder to taste - 1 item
- pie pastry - 1 item
How to make curry puffs:
Saute beef, onion and garlic in butter. Add curry powder, water and salt. Simmer for about 30 minutes. Roll out and cut pastry to desired size (2 to 3-inches in diameter).Place a small amount of filling on a round of pie crust and fold pastry in half, pressing edges together to form a half circle. Place on an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 350° for 20 minutes or until golden brown. Makes 36 puffs.
