Caramel popcorn
Ingredients/Components
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- salt - 1 tsp
- baking soda - 1 tsp
- brown sugar, firmly packed - 2 c
- sticks oleo - 2 item
- white corn syrup - 1/2 c
- popped corn two 9 x 13-inch pans heaped full - 6 qt
How to make caramel popcorn:
Boil for five minutes the oleo, brown sugar and white corn syrup. Remove from heat and add salt, vanilla and baking soda. Pour over popcorn. Stir to mix. Bake at 250° for 40 minutes. Stir about twice while in the oven. Cool on wax paper. Break apart.Recipe categories: Lunch/snacks, Snacks, Grains.
