- sugar - 1 tsp
- milk
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- flour - 2 Tbsp
- butter - 2 Tbsp
- 12 oz - 1 lb
- pepper - 1/4 tsp
- bay leaf - 1 item
- slices onion - 2 item
How to make cream of tomato soup:
Combine first six ingredients in a two-quart saucepan and simmer 10 minutes. Make a white sauce of butter, flour and milk and slowly add to tomato mixture, stirring constantly. Serve at once.Recipe categories: Soups & stews, Tomato, Bisques/cream soups.
