  • milk
  • salt - 1/4 tsp
  • flour - 2 Tbsp
  • butter - 2 Tbsp
  • 12 oz - 1 lb
  • pepper - 1/4 tsp
  • bay leaf - 1 item
  • slices onion - 2 item

How to make cream of tomato soup:

Combine first six ingredients in a two-quart saucepan and simmer 10 minutes. Make a white sauce of butter, flour and milk and slowly add to tomato mixture, stirring constantly. Serve at once.
