Cream of potato soup
Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1 tsp
- flour - 1/4 c
- water - 2 c
- pepper - 1/2 tsp
- finely chopped onion - 1 c
- dried parsley flakes - 2 tsp
- chicken bouillon cubes - 2 item
- cubed cheddar cheese - 3/4 lb
- peeled cubed potatoes - 6 c
- milk divided - 3 c
- shredded carrots- amount desired - 1 item
How to make cream of potato soup:
Combine first nine ingredients in large pot. Bring to a boil. Cover and reduce heat, simmer 15 - 20 minutes. Gradually stir 1/4 c. milk into flour to make a smooth paste.
