Hot chicken sandwich
Ingredients/Components
- sour cream - 1 c
- mayonnaise - 1/2 c
- onion, chopped - 1/3 c
- can sliced mushrooms - 4 oz
- chopped, cooked chicken - 2 c
- slices white bread - 12 item
- ripe olives, chopped - 1/4 c
- cans undiluted cream of chicken soup - 2 item
How to make hot chicken sandwich:
Cut crusts from 12 slices of bread; butter. Make filling with the first 5 ingredients. Mix well. Place half the slices in a 13 x 9-inch pan. Fill with sandwich mix and cover with second slice. Mix sour cream and soup. Spread over sandwiches. Refrigerate overnight. Bake at 325° for 45 minutes. Serves 6.
