- water - 2 c
- melted margarine - 1/2 c
- all-purpose flour - 1/2 c
- chopped onion - 1/2 c
- white pepper - 1 tsp
- chicken flavored bouillon cubes - 4 item
- frozen broccoli cuts - 1 (16
How to make cream of broccoli soup:
Cook broccoli in water. Simmer 5 minutes. Remove from heat and set side. Saute onion in butter in Dutch oven for 10 minutes or until tender. Add flour, stirring until smooth. Cook 1 minute, stirring constantly. Gradually add milk and bouillon cubes. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until mixture is thickened. Add broccoli, cooking water and pepper.
