  • milk - 6 c
  • water - 2 c
  • melted margarine - 1/2 c
  • all-purpose flour - 1/2 c
  • chopped onion - 1/2 c
  • white pepper - 1 tsp
  • chicken flavored bouillon cubes - 4 item
  • frozen broccoli cuts - 1 (16

How to make cream of broccoli soup:

Cook broccoli in water. Simmer 5 minutes. Remove from heat and set side. Saute onion in butter in Dutch oven for 10 minutes or until tender. Add flour, stirring until smooth. Cook 1 minute, stirring constantly. Gradually add milk and bouillon cubes. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until mixture is thickened. Add broccoli, cooking water and pepper. Simmer 20 to 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
