Broccoli cheese soup
Ingredients/Components
- milk - 6 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- water - 6 c
- Velveeta cheese - 2 lb
- salad oil - 2 Tbsp
- garlic powder - 1/8 tsp
- chopped onions - 3/4 c
- chicken bouillon cubes - 8 item
- frozen chopped broccoli - 2 pkg
- fine egg noodles - 8 oz
How to make broccoli cheese soup:
Heat oil. Add onions; saute for 3 minutes. Add water and bouillon cubes. Heat to boiling. Add noodles and salt. Cook 3 minutes. Stir in broccoli and garlic; cook 4 minutes. Add milk, cheese and pepper, cooking over low heat until cheese melts. Do not boil after adding milk, or it will clabber.Hint: You can put potatoes in this recipe, also.
