Cream of brie soup
Ingredients/Components
- dash of salt - 1 item
- chopped onion - 1/2 c
- chopped celery - 1/2 c
- milk or cream - 1 c
- chicken broth canned or homemade - 2 c
- butter as needed - 1 item
- small wheel Brie cheese, chopped including casing - 1 item
How to make cream of brie soup:
Saute onion and celery in a small amount of butter. Add broth, then cheese. Stir until cheese is melted, but do not allow mixture to boil. Add salt and milk or cream; stir until all ingredients are blended and soup is heated through. Do not boil!Recipe categories: Eggs/dairy, Cheese, Soups & stews.
