Crawfish pie
Ingredients/Components
- crawfish tails - 1 lb
- bunch green onions, chopped fine - 1 item
- parsley - 1/2 c
- flour - 1/4 c
- stick oleo or butter best with real butter - 1 item
- can cream of mushroom soup - 1 item
- can cream of celery soup - 1 item
- salt and pepper to taste after all is mixed and cooked for a few minutes - 1 item
How to make crawfish pie:
Melt butter. Saute onions and parsley in butter. Add flour and blend well. Add soup as in the can. Add no water to it. Simmer 5 minutes. Add crawfish tails (drained). Simmer 10 more minutes on very low heat. Prebake small pie shells at 350° for about 10 minutes or until lightly browned. Fill with crawfish filling. Bake filled shells for 10 minutes.
