Crabmeat au gratin
Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1 tsp
- flour - 1/2 c
- egg yolks - 2 item
- stick butter - 1 item
- grated Cheddar cheese - 8 oz
- can evaporated milk - 1 oz
- onions, chopped - 1 c
- celery, chopped - 1/2 c
- red pepper - 1/4 tsp
- lump crabmeat - 1 lb
How to make crabmeat au gratin:
Saute onions and celery in butter until soft. Add flour to mixture. Add milk, stirring constantly. Add egg yolks, salt and pepper. Cook for 10 minutes. Put crabmeat in a bowl and pour sauce over it. Blend well and place in a lightly greased casserole and sprinkle with grated cheese. Bake at 375° until browned.Recipe categories: Seafood, Shellfish, Crab.
