Ingredients/Components

  • water - 1/2 c
  • salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
  • white wine - 1/4 c
  • stick oleo - 1/2 item
  • can cream of shrimp soup - 1 item
  • medium onions, chopped - 2 item
  • bell pepper, chopped - 1/2 item
  • minced green onions - 1/2 c
  • stems celery, chopped - 2 item
  • peeled crawfish tails - 1 lb
  • garlic toes, chopped - 2 item

How to make crawfish etouffee:

Melt oleo and saute vegetables until wilted. Add crawfish tails and cook 10 minutes. Add the soup, water and wine. Stir and simmer with lid on for about 20 minutes. Add salt, pepper and green onions; simmer 5 or 10 minutes more. Serve over rice or pasta.
