Crabmeat au gratin
Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1 tsp
- flour - 1/2 c
- egg yolks - 2 item
- oleo - 1/4 lb
- grated cheese - 1/2 lb
- can milk - 1 item
- black pepper - 1/4 tsp
- stalk celery, chopped - 1 item
- red pepper - 1/2 tsp
- onions - 1 c
- white crabmeat - 1 lb
How to make crabmeat au gratin:
Saute onions and celery in oleo. Blend flour; pour in milk gradually, stirring constantly. Add egg yolks, salt and pepper. Cook 5 minutes. Put crabmeat in bowl suitable for mixing and pour cooked sauce over crabmeat. Blend well; transfer to lightly greased casserole and sprinkle with grated cheese.
