  • pkg - 1 lb
  • sour cream - 1 c
  • 9-inch pie shell
  • chopped green pepper - 1/4 c
  • eggs, slightly beaten - 4 item
  • chopped red pepper - 1/4 c
  • grated sharp Cheddar cheese
  • light cream I use skim milk - 1/4 c

How to make country breakfast pie:

Cook sausage until done. Crumble, then drain. Mix cheese and sausage. Sprinkle into unbaked pie shell. Lightly beat eggs and combine with remaining ingredients. Pour into pie shell containing sausage mixture. Bake at 375° for 40 to 45 minutes. Cool 10 minutes on rack.
