Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 3 Tbsp
- vanilla - 1 Tbsp
- cocoa
- self-rising flour
- cups milk - 2 item
- cups sugar - 2 item
- stick butter, cut up - 1/2 item
- pre-baked pie shells, cooled - 2 item
- eggs 3 eggs separated/reserve whites for meringue - 6 item
- Add cocoa and flour
How to make chocolate pie:
In large iron skillet, beat eggs and sugar together. Add cocoa and flour. Add milk, vanilla and butter. Mix well and bring to boil. Reduce heat to medium and cook until mixture thickens; stirring constantly. Remove from heat and divide mixture between two pie shells.Meringue:3 eggs whites3 Tbsp. sugar1 Tbsp. vanilla Beat egg whites until foamy. Add sugar and vanilla and beat until stiff peaks form.
