Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- eggs - 2 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- milk - 4 Tbsp
- water - 1 c
- cocoa - 4 Tbsp
- buttermilk - 1/2 c
- self-rising flour - 2 c
- box powdered sugar - 1 item
- stick oleo - 1 item
- Wesson oil - 1 c
- Bring to a boil the next 4 ingredients and boil 1 minute; stir
- a little water if too dry - 1 item
How to make chocolate cake:
Mix flour and sugar well; set aside. Bring to a boil the next 4 ingredients and boil 1 minute; stir. Pour this over flour and sugar mixture. Add buttermilk, eggs and vanilla; mix. Bake at 350° for 40 minutes in 9 x 13-inch pan. (Grease and flour pan.)Icing:4 Tbsp. cocoa4 Tbsp. milk1 stick oleo1 tsp. vanilla1 box powdered sugar a little water if too dry Bring first 4 ingredients to boil. Mix with powdered sugar.
