Ingredients/Components

  • eggs, separated - 4 item
  • Pet milk - 2 c
  • sugar - 2 c
  • flour - 6 Tbsp
  • stick butter - 1/2 item
  • baked pie shell - 1 item
  • Gradually add sugar and 1/2 milk

How to make chocolate pie:

Beat yolks until well blended. Gradually add sugar and 1/2 milk. Mix cocoa and flour; fold into mixture. Add remaining milk. Cook in double boiler until thick. Add butter; mix well. Pour into shell and top with meringue.Meringue:4 egg whites8 Tbsp. sugar Beat egg whites until stiff; gradually add sugar, beating as you add until whites will hold a peak. Bake at 350° until brown.
