Ingredients/Components
- stick butter - 1 item
- light brown sugar - 1 lb
- eggs - 3 item
- self-rising flour - 2 c
- vanilla flavoring - 1 tsp
- pecans - 1 item
How to make chew bread:
Melt butter in a saucepan. Pour in light brown sugar. Mix together. Add eggs, flour and flavoring. Add as many pecans as you like. Pour in a 9 x 13 pan and bake at 350° for about 20 minutes. When middle of bread falls, take out of oven. If you don't take out of oven when it falls, it won't be as moist.Recipe categories: Desserts, Eggs/dairy, Grains.
