- stick margarine - 1 item
- buttermilk - 1 c
- self-rising flour - 1 c
- can cream of chicken soup - 1 item
- black pepper - 1 tsp
- whole chicken - 1 item
- reserved broth - 2 c
How to make chicken pie:
Cook the chicken. Reserve 2 cups broth and add the cream of chicken soup. Let chicken cool, then take the meat off the bone. In a large bowl, combine the flour, buttermilk and black pepper. Melt the margarine. Place chicken in a 9 x 13-inch pan with brRecipe categories: Chicken, Poultry, Meat.
