Ingredients/Components
- buttermilk - 1 c
- self-rising flour - 1 c
- can cream of chicken soup - 1 item
- broth - 2 c
- stick melted margarine - 1 item
- boiled chicken - 1 item
How to make chicken pie:
Break up chicken and place in 9 x 13-inch baking dish. Mix broth and chicken soup until smooth and pour over chicken. Salt and pepper. Mix flour, buttermilk and margarine, making a batter. Pour over chicken and bake at 400° for 30 minutes. To brown crust, broil until lightly brown (1 can of Veg-All or frozen vegetables may be added).Recipe categories: Chicken, Poultry, Meat.
