Hawaiian chicken
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 3/4 c
- cornstarch - 2 Tbsp
- ginger - 1/4 tsp
- cider vinegar - 1/4 c
- soy sauce - 1 Tbsp
- chicken bouillon cube - 1 item
- large green pepper - 1 item
- boneless chicken breasts - 6 item
- large can sliced pineapple - 1 item
How to make hawaiian chicken:
Put pineapple juice in 2-cup measuring container. Add water to make 1 1/4 cups. In pan, combine sugar, cornstarch, juice, vinegar, soy sauce, ginger and bouillon cube. Bring to a boil and cook for 4 minutes. Pour over chicken and bake, uncovered, at 350° for 45 minutes. Garnish with pineapple and green pepper slices and bake for 30 minutes more or until chicken is tender.Recipe categories: Chicken, Main dish, Casseroles.
