Ingredients/Components
- stick margarine - 1 item
- buttermilk
- self-rising flour
- can cream of chicken soup - 1 item
- chicken broth - 2 c
- 1/2 soup cans water - 1 item
- or 5 chicken breasts - 4 item
How to make chicken pie:
Boil chicken until done, debone and chop in small pieces. Put chopped chicken in a 9 x 13-inch baking dish or pan. Mix soup and water and pour over chicken. Mix flour, buttermilk and melted margarine and spoon over chicken. Pour chicken broth over batter. Do not stir! Bake at 350° for 1 hour.
