Chicken parmesan
Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1 Tbsp
- butter or margarine, melted - 1/2 lb
- Worcestershire sauce
- Dijon mustard - 1 Tbsp
- Parmesan cheese - 1 c
- bread crumbs - 2 c
- fresh parsley - 1/3 c
- clove garlic, crushed - 1 item
- chicken breasts, boned and halved - 6 item
How to make chicken parmesan:
Mix bread crumbs, Parmesan cheese, salt and parsley. Add garlic, mustard and Worcestershire sauce to the melted butter. Dip chicken in the butter mixture, then in bread crumbs. Place in a large shallow pan and drizzle with remaining butter. Bake in 300° oven for 1 1/4 hours. Makes 6 to 8 servings.Suggested side servings: pasta with garlic butter sauce, bread and salad.
