Chicken cordon bleu



  • melted butter - 1/4 c
  • fine bread crumbs - 3/4 c
  • salt and pepper - 1 item
  • thin slices boiled ham - 4 item
  • boneless chicken breast halves - 4 item
  • thin slices Swiss cheese - 4 item

How to make chicken cordon bleu:

Pound each chicken breast with a mallet until flat. Wrap chicken breast around ham and cheese and secure with a toothpick. Combine bread crumbs, salt and pepper. Roll chicken in butter, then in bread crumbs. Place in buttered baking dish. Bake at 375° for 45 minutes. Serves 4.
