Chicken and rice casserole
Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1 tsp
- long grain rice - 2 c
- can cream of mushroom soup - 1 item
- can cream of celery soup - 1 item
- parsley - 1 item
- green onions - 1 item
- can mushrooms - 1 item
- cans water - 2 item
- cube butter - 1 item
- cut up chicken - 1 item
- any spice you like - 1 item
How to make chicken and rice casserole:
Melt butter in a large pan. Dredge chicken through. Put rest of ingredients in a 9 x 13-inch casserole. Mix well. Place buttered chicken, skin side up, on rice mixture. Bake uncovered at 350° for 1 hour and 20 minutes.This was always a favorite with my two sons. Serves 6 (or 4 if two are teen-age boys).
