Hawaiian chicken
Ingredients/Components
- soy sauce
- large clove garlic, crushed - 1 item
- pineapple slices - 6 item
- ginger powder - 3/4 tsp
- chicken breast halves, boned and skinned - 6 item
- each: catsup, dry sherry, cream sherry, pineapple juice, dark brown sugar and oil - 3 Tbsp
How to make hawaiian chicken:
Marinade:1/2 c. soy sauce1 large clove garlic, crushed3/4 tsp. ginger powder3 Tbsp. each: catsup, dry sherry, cream sherry, pineapple juice, dark brown sugar and oil With wire whip mix marinade ingredients. Punch holes in chicken breasts. Place in Ziploc bag with pineapple. Pour in marinade. Refrigerate overnight. Turn bag several times to evenly distribute marinade.Heat gas barbecue on medium. Grill pineapple 1 minute per side. Remove. Keep warm. Grill chicken 7 minutes each side. Place pineapple slice on each breast. Serve with pilaf. Serves 6.
