Ingredients/Components

  • raw rice - 1 c
  • can French onion soup - 1 item
  • can beef consomme soup - 1 item
  • to 4 whole chicken breasts or 1 whole fryer - 2 item

How to make chicken and rice casserole:

Broil breasts or whole chicken (cut up) 5 minutes on each side. Remove from pan; leave juices. To juices, add 1 cup rice. Dot with butter. Place chicken pieces on top of this. Pour both soups over the top. Cover with foil and bake at 350° for 50 minutes. Remove foil and bake for 10 minutes more. Easy and great for company!
