Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1 tsp
- stick margarine - 1/2 item
- plain flour - 2 c
- Crisco - 2 Tbsp
- chicken breasts - 2 item
- cream of chicken soup - 1 item
- sweet milk - 1 c
How to make chicken and dumplings:
Boil chicken breasts and dice. Roll out batter as thin as possible; cut into 1 x 3-inch strips. Bring broth to boil, drop in strips and reduce to simmer. Add cream of chicken soup, margarine and salt. Cook about 20 minutes.Recipe categories: Chicken, Main dish, Whole chicken.
