Chicken almondine
Ingredients/Components
- sour cream - 1/2 c
- melted butter - 2 Tbsp
- chopped onion - 1/2 c
- chopped celery - 1/2 c
- can cream of chicken soup - 1 item
- mayonnaise - 2/3 c
- can mushrooms - 4 oz
- slivered almonds - 1/2 c
- can crescent rolls - 8 oz
- can water chestnuts - 8 oz
- shredded Swiss cheese - 3 oz
- to 6 chicken breasts, cubed - 4 item
How to make chicken almondine:
In large saucepan, combine first 8 ingredients. Cook until hot and bubbly. Pour into 13 x 9-inch ungreased baking dish. Top with unbaked crescent rolls. Combine butter, cheese and almonds. Spread over crescent rolls. Bake at 375° for 20 to 25 minutes until crescent rolls are brown.Recipe categories: Chicken, Poultry, Meat.
