Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1 tsp
- lemon juice - 2 Tbsp
- chopped onion - 2 tsp
- can cream of chicken soup - 1 item
- can chicken broth - 1 item
- dash of pepper - 1 item
- mayonnaise - 1 c
- grated Cheddar cheese
- diced celery
- can mushrooms - 1 item
- slivered almonds - 1 c
- chicken breasts - 6 item
- potato chips - 1 item
- can water chestnuts - 1 item
How to make chicken casserole:
Stew chicken in chicken broth. Cut chicken into small pieces; combine with celery, almonds, onion, lemon juice, salt and pepper. Add mushrooms and water chestnuts; toss with mayonnaise and soup. Pour into greased casserole. Sprinkle with cheese and crumbled potato chips. Bake at 350° for 20 to 25 minutes.Recipe categories: Main dish, Casseroles, Chicken breast.
