Ingredients/Components
- butter, softened - 6 Tbsp
- chopped onion - 2 Tbsp
- chopped celery - 2 c
- slivered almonds - 1 item
- cooked rice - 2 c
- corn flakes, crushed - 4 c
- mayo or Miracle Whip
- cooked chicken pieces - 2 c
- cans creamed soup chicken, mushroom or celery - 2 item
How to make chicken almondine:
Saute celery and onion. Combine the rice, chicken, celery, onion, mayo or Miracle Whip and soup. Put into a 13 x 9-inch pan. Mix the crushed corn flakes and softened butter; spread on top of casserole. Sprinkle with slivered almonds. Bake at 350° for 30 or 40 minutes.Recipe categories: Chicken, Poultry, Meat.
