Cheese scalloped potatoes
Ingredients/Components
- milk - 1/2 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- butter, melted - 1 Tbsp
- dash of pepper - 1 item
- can condensed Cheddar cheese soup - 1 oz
- dry fine bread crumbs - 1/4 c
- sour cream sauce mix - 1 pkg
- to 5 medium potatoes, pared and diced - 4 item
How to make cheese scalloped potatoes:
Cook potatoes in boiling water, salted, until tender. Drain. Combine soup, sour cream sauce mix, milk, salt and pepper. Place half of the potatoes in a 1 1/2-quart casserole dish. Top with half the soup mixture. Repeat with remaining potatoes and soup mixture. Combine melted butter and bread crumbs. Sprinkle on top. Cover and bake at 375° for 25 minutes.
