Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- egg whites - 2 item
- dry mustard - 1/2 tsp
- paprika - 1/2 tsp
- Worcestershire sauce - 1 tsp
- grated Cheddar cheese - 1/2 c
- grated Swiss cheese - 1/2 c
- French bread baguette 3-inch in diameter - 1 item
How to make cheese puffs:
Mix cheeses, Worcestershire, paprika and mustard. Beat egg whites with salt until stiff. Fold into cheese mixture. Toast one side of bread slices lightly under a broiler. Flip the slices over and top the untoasted side with same egg and cheese mixture. Broil 3 to 6 minutes, until puffed and brown. Serve hot.Recipe categories: Eggs/dairy, Appetizers, Cheese.
