Ingredients/Components

  • Worcestershire sauce - 1 item
  • green onions, sliced - 4 item
  • shredded sharp Cheddar cheese - 1 c
  • Tabasco sauce - 1 item
  • mayo - 1 c
  • bacon - 1 lb
  • Melba rounds - 1 item
  • sherry or sweet vermouth - 1 Tbsp

How to make cheese and bacon puffs:

Cook bacon until crisp. Drain and crumble. Combine with mayo, cheese, onions, sherry and seasonings to taste. Mix well. Chill 3 hours or up to 3 days. Spread on Melba rounds. Broil until bubbly. Watch. Yields about 50.
