Cheese and bacon puffs
Ingredients/Components
- Worcestershire sauce - 1 item
- green onions, sliced - 4 item
- shredded sharp Cheddar cheese - 1 c
- Tabasco sauce - 1 item
- mayo - 1 c
- bacon - 1 lb
- Melba rounds - 1 item
- sherry or sweet vermouth - 1 Tbsp
How to make cheese and bacon puffs:
Cook bacon until crisp. Drain and crumble. Combine with mayo, cheese, onions, sherry and seasonings to taste. Mix well. Chill 3 hours or up to 3 days. Spread on Melba rounds. Broil until bubbly. Watch. Yields about 50.Recipe categories: Eggs/dairy, Appetizers, Cheese.
