- shredded Monterey Jack cheese - 4 oz
- shredded cheese optional - 2 Tbsp
- large tortilla chips - 16 item
How to make nachos:
Place a sheet of wax paper on a 10-inch glass or paper plate. Cover with tortilla chips. Sprinkle with cheese. Microwave at 50% power (Medium) 1 1/2 to 2 1/2 minutes until cheese melts, rotating once or twice.Variation: Place small slice of jalapeno pepper or stuffed olive on each chip before sprinkling with cheese.
